Staff Alerts
This page describes BiddyUp's internal staff alert text program — the text messages we send to our own crew about running the auction. It is a separate program from our customer auction alerts. Who this is for: employees and crew members of BiddyUp INC. only. No customers, no purchased lists, no marketing. Joining is voluntary and is not a condition of employment or of any purchase.
Program description
BiddyUp INC. sends recurring automated operational text messages to staff members who opt in. Messages report auction results and close-day totals, inventory and container arrivals, lot and labor counts, and automated system status or failure alarms. Message frequency varies with the auction calendar — typically a few messages per week, with more on auction close days. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How staff opt in
There are two ways a staff member gives consent. Both are voluntary, and either one alone is enough.
1. Text START to (918) 716-5718
From the mobile phone you want alerts on, text the keyword START to (918) 716-5718. You will get one confirmation message back:
After that confirmation you are subscribed, and operational alerts begin.
2. Sign the written consent line at onboarding
New crew members are shown this page and offered the alert group when they are hired. A staff member may instead give written consent by signing the following line on the BiddyUp onboarding form. The signed form is kept in the employee's file by the owner:

Text STOP to (918) 716-5718 at any time. You will get one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent. To rejoin, text START to the same number.

Privacy
Staff mobile numbers collected for this program are used only to send these internal alerts. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle information generally.
Supported carriers
Major U.S. carriers are supported, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
